Each EcoLEDLighting LED luminaire sold directly by EcoLEDLighting is guaranteed for an extended period.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE GUARANTEE IS ONLY VALID ONCE REGISTERED (AS REFERRED TO IN THE CONDITIONS BELOW) AND FOR LUMINAIRES SOLD DIRECTLY BY ECOLEDLIGHTING
- THIS DOES NOT APPLY TO SALES THROUGH OUR RESELLERS AND DISTRIBUTORS UNLESS SPECIFIED.
Under the Guarantee, if a Product is defective as a result of, either, an inherently faulty component, or poor workmanship,
EcoLEDLighting will replace either the Product or the faulty component, as it thinks appropriate, free of charge.
EcoLEDLighting will endeavour to replace a Product or component (as the case may be) with the same product or component.
If the Product or component is no longer available, EcoLEDLighting reserves the right to replace the Product or component
with either an appropriate similar product or component, or one of higher quality.
The Guarantee is strictly subject to the Conditions below.
Conditions
- The Product must have been purchased directly from EcoLEDLighting.
- The Product must be installed by a qualified electrician ideally one with knowledge of LED lighting installations.
- We are unable to accept liability for damaged or defective Products (or components) unless the damage has occurred prior to
delivery and while the Product (or component) is at our premises or while in transit from our premises to the customer's premises
if we are responsible for carriage. The customer must carry out an examination when the Product is delivered and if there is any
damage, the customer must notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
- The Guarantee will not cover any defects resulting from misuse of the Product. Examples of misuse include:
- incorrect installation (that is to say installation other than in accordance with the instruction manual accompanying the Product);
- use of the Product for a purpose for which it is not designed (purposes for which the Product is designed are set out in the
instruction manual);
- disassembly of any complete and/or sealed component;
- use of an incorrect power source (details of the correct form of power source are set out in the instruction manual; or
- deliberate damage to the Product or damage arising as a result of gross negligence.
- Within 90 days of the date of the invoice for the purchase of the Product, the Online Warranty Registration Form
should be duly completed and submitted, and a copy of the invoice or receipt for the Product must be sent to EcoLEDLighting.
- The Guarantee period will begin on the relevant invoice date.
- Failure to register the Guarantee as described in 4 above will result in the reduction of the Guarantee period to 12 months
from the date of the relevant invoice, rather than the standard Guarantee period referred to above (and all other terms of the
Guarantee will apply thereto with such changes as the context requires).
- On receipt of a Guarantee registration in accordance with 4 above, EcoLEDLighting will send out a Guarantee Registration
Number to confirm registration of the Guarantee. This number must be referred to should any Product be returned to EcoLEDLighting
under this Guarantee and in all communications with EcoLEDLighting relating thereto.
- All returned Products must include an EcoLEDLighting RMA number on the exterior of the parcel containing the Product, otherwise
EcoLEDLighting reserves the right to reject the same. Details of how to obtain an RMA number will be sent with the confirmation of
the registration of the Guarantee
- Customers' statutory rights are not affected by this Guarantee.
Exceptions
Any EcoLEDLighting Product not registered and therefore covered by the extended guarantee are covered under a 12 month guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship.
